Spending your store credit

Store credit from Kief isn't a separate gift card or app balance — it's ordinary store credit on your own customer profile in the point-of-sale system.

Where it lives

1. Each posting lands on your own customer profile at your home store.
2. It isn't limited to your home store, though — you can spend it at any Oasis Cannabis Co. store, the same as any other store credit.
3. It follows the Employee Store and Store Credit Policy, the same policy that covers any other store credit on your profile.

Using it

1. At checkout, let the budtender ringing you up know you'd like to apply your store credit to the sale.
2. It applies like any other store credit balance — there's nothing special to set up in Kief itself.

Note: Kief tracks that a payout was posted as store credit (see your payout history), but your actual spendable balance lives in the POS on your customer profile, not in Kief.

If something looks off

If store credit you expected hasn't shown up on your customer profile, first check whether it's still pending — see how store credit posts for the schedule. If it should have posted by now and hasn't, use Something's wrong on the contest it came from, or see if an earning looks wrong.

Tip: You're never required to take store credit. See choosing store credit if you'd rather switch to payroll.
