What is Kief?

Kief is Oasis Cannabis Co.'s sales rewards program, run through the Kief app at kief.app. It replaces the old Sparkplug rewards platform. The Company, and sometimes an approved vendor brand, can fund short-term sales contests that pay eligible employees for qualifying sales.

What Kief does

1. Shows you the contests ("Campaigns") live at your store right now.
2. Tracks the sales that qualify for each one, credited to your own point-of-sale login.
3. Records what you've earned, and lets you choose how it's paid: payroll or store credit.
4. Shows leaderboards and ranks for contests that are set up as leaderboards.

Who can take part

Kief is for active retail sales staff: budtenders, team leads, assistant managers, and store managers whose HRIS record is linked to a point-of-sale login and whose home store has been opened to the program. Employees who approve campaigns or payouts (like District Managers, HR Admins, and Super Admins) don't earn from Kief themselves.

One exception to know about: on leaderboard contests, managers and assistant managers are excluded unless the contest says they're included. They don't appear on the leaderboard or win its prizes. There's no separate Kief password or account to set up. You open Kief from the same employee portal you already use for work.

Note: Kief is a discretionary benefit, not part of your base pay. The Company can change, pause, or end a contest, a reward rule, or the program itself at any time. See your Store Manager or HR if you have questions about the Kief Rewards Program Policy.
