Contests that end at month end
A vendor-funded contest running longer than a month settles in monthly segments instead of one long run.

Some contests are funded by a vendor brand rather than Oasis directly. Those always run in calendar-month segments.
How segments work
- A vendor-funded contest can start on any day, but each segment always ends at 23:59:59 on the last day of that month.
- If the contest runs longer than one month, it's split into consecutive monthly segments. Each segment settles on its own — its progress, leaderboard, and any cap reset for the new segment.
- No segment crosses the 1st of a month.
Note: This only applies to vendor-funded contests. A contest Oasis funds directly doesn't need to split this way.
What it means for payout timing
- Payroll earnings go out on the first biweekly payroll after the whole contest ends, not segment by segment. A contest that ends on October 31 is paid with the pay period that ends November 1.
- Store credit waits the same way: it posts the night that payroll is built.
Why this exists
Each closed segment becomes the vendor's bill for that month. Splitting a long-running vendor contest into months keeps that billing clean, and keeps your progress and rank scoped to a period that actually ends and settles.
Tip: If a vendor contest looks like it "restarted" partway through, that's expected — you're just seeing a new monthly segment, not a new contest.
